Conference interpretation services
My name is Céline Corsini. I graduated from the Institut supérieur d'interprétation et de traduction (ISIT, Paris, France) and the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS, Monterey, CA). Based in Berlin, I serve a demanding international clientele and am accredited with European institutions as well as the European Patent Office.
I offer professional interpretation services in French, English, German, and Portuguese — in simultaneous, consecutive, or whispered mode, depending on your event's needs.
As a member of the ECH00 Konferenzdolmetschen network, I am part of a collective of qualified conference interpreters based in Berlin, covering the vast majority of European languages and operating successfully since 1995. In this capacity, I am able to assemble and coordinate interpreter teams for your multilingual events, advise you on the interpretation mode best suited to your context, and assist you in choosing the appropriate technical equipment.

I offer the following interpretation modes:
Simultaneous
In simultaneous interpretation, the interpreter sits in a soundproof booth with a direct view of the room and the speaker, listening and interpreting simultaneously into a target language. This mode requires a booth (fixed or mobile) compliant with ISO standards for acoustic insulation, sizing, ventilation, and accessibility, as well as appropriate equipment.
Consecutive
In consecutive interpretation, the interpreter sits at the same table as the delegates or at the podium with the speaker, and interprets after a variable time interval. Note-taking is an essential element of consecutive interpretation, supporting the work of memory.
Whispered
Whispered interpretation is a mode in which the interpreter sits next to one or two meeting participants and whispers the interpretation of the speaker's words. This mode is suitable when only a very small number of listeners need interpretation.
